I have to wonder, has anyone gotten this working in the KDE suite of apps / Akonadi? I feel like I keep hearing Akonadi is getting better, but 's like they keep focusing on new things or porting to a new framework and they don't go back to fix bugs. So I've gone to Thunderbird and it worked with Davmail right away. My other two are just empty, but I can add entries and they'll show up online.but it's pretty useless to have a calendar where I can't see any of my meetings or anything. The only calendar that loads is the Holiday calendar. I tried adding my calendars with CalDav through Davmail and that's utterly useless too.

Akonadi EWS calendar support is completely broken and it seems like it was abandonded as no bugs filed against it have even been addressed. Basically you grab the text of an Outlook email/reply/forwarded message/etc., use Emacs to edit the reply or create a new message, and return the result to the Outlook editing window. I got mail working through Davmail, but KMail is soooo slow with it. I've been up all night and I'm at my wits end.
